# Discordianism.org

> The hub of the modern Discordian network. Home of *Discordianism Decompiled* (2026 Edition), a complete contemporary Discordian scripture in ten books, plus history, catechism, printable artifacts, and an oracle. Discordianism is a religion — or a parody of a religion — devoted to Eris, the Greek goddess of chaos. If you think it's just a joke, you don't get the joke. If you think it's serious, you *really* don't get the joke.

Discordianism was founded in 1958-1959 by Greg Hill (Malaclypse the Younger) and Kerry Wendell Thornley (Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst), whose *Principia Discordia* remains the founding text. This site hosts a modern continuation of that tradition. Every man, woman, and child on Earth is already a genuine and authorized Pope.
