The eleven holy days
The Discordian calendar honors ten holy days — five Apostle days (one per season, on day 5) and five Flux days (one per season, on day 50) — plus St. Tib’s Day, which exists only on February 29 and which does not appear in non-leap years. The Society does not consider this a problem.
A holy-day card mailed at the appropriate time of year tends to confuse the recipient in proportion to how seriously they take their other holiday cards. The confusion is the function. Hail Eris.
